In December when I first started to use my D90, I rarely edited the photos much before throwing them on flickr. I didn't really realize that it's almost impossible to get a PERFECT shot sooc. A couple weeks ago I stumbled onto Pioneer Woman's Action Sets.

They're absolutely wonderful. I would eventually learn to do what most of them do through tutorials and just messing around but this makes life so much easier. I can resize a picture, edit some things in Camera Raw, and hit a couple actions to make it look polished.

I used Boost and Quick Edge Burn for this one:

This shouldn't stop you from learning new things in Photoshop. But if you want a quick black and white picture, please, just hit the little play button.

I brought my D90 into school today because one of my friends was leaving to go to Florida and wanted to play with it like we did before Christmas break. After we had our mini photo shoot in trig, I went to lunch. I don't eat in the cafeteria, I go to the music wing with my friend who practices the piano.

We thought it would be fun to have her play the fastest song with the most trills and runs. I can't remember the name but it's just amazing how fast her fingers are moving. Even she didn't think they were moving that fast!
