Busy Week

Wow, I totally meant to blog about shoeless boy a couple days ago. Where has the time gone? Here's a little rundown of what my week has been like.

So last Saturday, I was at my grandmother's house, about to sit down and finally get further in Blink, when my mom called and said she was going to pick me up. I was kinda confused but went along with it. I then learned that she was picking me up on the way home from the hospital where my dad was since he pulled one of his tendons in his foot. Without boring you with details, long story short: he can't do much for the next (apparently) 12 weeks after the surgery which he's getting some time this coming week.

That was just my Saturday, Sunday I can't even remember because I'm pretty sure I did absolutely nothing.

Monday rolls around and I know this week is going to be a lot of work. We were finally going to start building the set of Into the Woods after school in tech. That chewed up from three to five o'clock from Monday through Thursday, not that I minded. The people I see there I don't have class with and are just super awesomely fun to hang out with.

Combine the after school activity with some homework that I was getting, it was a busy week. I know that next week will be a really long one. My school decided to give us mid-terms the week before we have regents. The only class that I'm really worried about is my history class since I have never been that good in history, unlike math which I barely have to think to understand it.

At least I just have to survive this week and then it's a week off for me (for those regents). All I need to do is go in twice for my algebra and geometry regents because I want to retake them to try and get a 100%. I'm more looking forward to making some delicious pound cake, however.

Cooking & Baking Hardware I Would Love to Own

Some people like to buy clothes, other like to buy books. Me, I'm different. I was just browsing William Sonoma's site, looking to see if they had mini cheesecake pans (ahem, for this recipe) and got caught up looking at everything I would want to order from there if I had $500 to spend.

Yup, that's what I would buy if I was given that money. There's probably other things that I would buy that are related to cooking but that's all I can think of at the moment. :P

Update: See, I'm ALWAYS looking up hardware I don't really need, but this time it's actually practical! I don't have a instant read thermometer... or normal thermometer for that matter. But we won't go there.
