Feb 28, 2010Vlog #2

In the latest edision of my boring vlog series, you get to hear my talk about... books! I go through my entire book collection that should really be read, but in reality I'm only a third of the way done. You get to see me in a new setting, my room. Also featured is half my face being dark due to no light hitting it (though I completely screw up saying that sentence in the video).

Oh, and I totally agree with Clem on Vimeo choosing the worst preview images.

I think I may change the setting on my camera to record in a better quality because the current quality is OK.

Great selection of books you have there. And 2 copies of the Smashing book? Dang lucky. Wish I had one -wink wink- lmao. I remember just reading a couple pages of the Mammoth book. It was easy to understand well at least the first 10-15 pages I read ha. The book wasn't mine.. it was my typography teacher :P

Wait, are those ALL the books you own? :P Or just a small collection of all the books you own? 'Cause I have like 45 books, plus another 5-10 I've lent out, and I consider that a small collection!

Also, I still cannot believe you are taller than me, you look so yoooung!

Yeah, I agree with Josh - are those the only books you have? I have a solid 150 at least. :P It would take me ages to go through everything!

Hahaha your preview image isn't that bad compared to some of mine. >:(

I could have sworn that Vimeo had an option to choose which thumbnail you want to appear. If not, I know for sure there's the option to upload your own thumbnail.

I've been interested in getting The Bread Baker's Apprentice, but haven't actually done so. Now that I have a stand mixer, I really want to give breads a try. I'll probably get it for sure, now that you've convinced me!
