School in Two Days September 6

Here I am, finally blogging about something on my blog which I said I would blog 3-4 times a week (LOL). I hope you aren't sick of "back to school" entries because here comes another!

I go back to school in two days, aka Tuesday. I have mixed feelings about going back. Last year at this time I had wished that summer would never end and that I'm going to die when I go to school. Then, at the end of this past school year I couldn't wait to be a sophomore and take my awesome classes. However, because my school has the best scheduling system ever (note the sarcasm), I wasn't able to take two of the classes that I knew I wanted to. Instead I was suck with an AP and Spanish teacher I didn't want, along with a class I had originally dropped.

Oh, and did I mention that we now have NINE PERIODS. My stupid school district keeps changing things. First they make us go in a half hour earlier. Then they make more periods and have reduce the time we have to get from class A to class B. Usually this isn't a bad thing, but when you're school is as big as mine, it gets kinda annoying not being able to talk to your friends in the halfway.

The one thing I know I'm excited about is being able to use my Moleskine planner. :P

Alright, I'll be done with my rant for now. However, like I said before, my feelings are mixed about going back to school. It's going to be nice to get out of the house (and away from my family), but then again, I have to do homework. Seeing as how I'll be taking two AP classes (my choice, mind you) I'll have even less time on the computer. See, if I only had my MacBook Pro, I could be doing my homework in my room on the computer... *sigh*

If you're going back to school/college, what are your feelings about going back?

I'm not attending college until early to mid 2010. However, I do remember how nervous I would be when my first days of high school were about to start. The only thing that bugs me about new school years is the changes the school itself makes. One year we were allowed to carry our backpacks around and then the next we weren't. Not that big of a change, however, it made me angry. :P

I'm super excited, but then I'm studying media, so what's not to love?

When I was in middle school, we used to have nine periods. In high school, it changed to five periods. Four classes and a lunch period. I liked the latter schedule better. Having nine classes was such a pain!

We start school on Tuesday here, too, and I'm really excited. First year teachers always are, I guess. Also a bit nervous, but I'm sure everything will be fine. I'm sure your school year will turn out fine as well. AP classes are always hard, but worth it. Makes the transition to college courses easier if you're being challenged in high school. I'm glad most of my courses were AP, that's for sure! =)

My first day is tomorrow too. I have 9 periods, each 45 minutes.

The school had been added onto a lot, so it'll be hard to navigate.

And I always thought you were in my grade (9th), Vasili?

I'm not going back to college because I am starting university in September! So I couldn't be more excited. The only annoying thing is, is that I have to get up early on the morning of my enrollment. I'm not really a morning person. -__-

I am going back to university (hopefully) to do a Masters, either this year or next. To counter the negativity usually associated with going back to school, higher education is super awesome and I'm practically wetting myself in anticipation. YAY.

Back when I was in school we also had 9 periods and conflicting subjects. I couldn't take two or three subjects I wanted to take because of really tight scheduling (I went to a very small school - means the tuition is very personal but the system is VERY restricted). Bah, who needs school anyway?
