I'm About Ready to Implode

So it's April if you haven't noticed. I certainly have since April 1st was the last day of school before the end of the year (I wish) before spring break. And by spring break I mean the best week that I've had in the past three months. It went by so slowly that I actually got to enjoy it... up until Sunday that is when I decided it was time to do all my homework before going back.

You know what I just realized while I was typing this? That was last week. Yeah. This week has actually been pretty fast. It was one of those weeks where I thought it was the previous day so it seemed like I was flying through time when I was actually in zombie mode. I really was in zombie mode today because I decided to go into school early today to just talk to people. Not a smart idea. I pretty much lost an hour of sleep so I was completely wiped by stats (last period), and I was basically asleep on the bus if someone hadn't talked to me.

So my two AP tests are coming up in oh TWO AND A HALF WEEKS. OMG. I AM GOING TO DIE AND BY THAT I MEAN NOT GET A GOOD GRADE. Both of the tests have a ~14-15% chance of getting a five. Of course I would be content with a four but if I opened that envelope and saw all three of the grades be five I would jump and scream even more than I did last year. I wouldn't buy myself another domain, though.

I decided to do some super duper studying this weekend, next week, next weekend, and the week after. This weekend I hope to get a little study group together, but we'll see how that plays out. But the last full week before the tests is also "hell week". Now hell week is the week where we do three/four dress rehearsals of the play. That means I have to stay at school until 9-10 at night. I also have to get all my sound stuff ready. This includes: finding hospital sounds (please help me! D:), birds, giant stomps, EKG (got it), maybe a baby crying, and then mixing stuff around to make it sound crazy. Oh, I also have to work a sound board with my iPod for the sound effects. Shoot me now.

Of course I love the play. Scenes where nothing big happens I could probably review one or two multiple choice questions and/or do some homework while I press a few buttons. And then we get some food, including my soon to be cake, sans pecans of course. ;)

TL;DR or "I don't care about your life, you anti-social weirdo", then comment on my bokeh whoreness (and my favorite picture I took on Easter weekend):

You should also visit NiftyFifty but that's a completely different story.

Are you into audio too? I do tons of audio stuff for my school through the AV Crew.

    Ethan - I guess since I a) don't like lighting and b) can't sing/dance. ;)

Oh my, I can't believe that it's already mid-April either! I only have two weeks of school left! I'm not ready for it to end!

Okay, the homework can end because I'm so unmotivated that I just... haven't been doing it. Eep!

Break a leg on your production!

2 more months until the end of school! Just keep telling yourself that and you'll get through! Good luck with everything, I'm sure you'll get wonderful grades, since you always do. :)

I found that my spring break went by much too quickly. Although this past week also went by very quickly, so I can't complain! It's crunch time now that the SOLs (our state tests) are a month away. We have about 20 school days to get these kids ready for the tests, and all the teachers are panicking.

Good luck with your AP tests! I remember studying for my AP Spanish and AP History exams. So many group studies, but all the stress and hard work paid off. I got a 4 in History and a 5 in Spanish. I'm sure you'll do great!
