Jan 15, 2010Busy Week
Wow, I totally meant to blog about shoeless boy a couple days ago. Where has the time gone? Here's a little rundown of what my week has been like.
So last Saturday, I was at my grandmother's house, about to sit down and finally get further in Blink, when my mom called and said she was going to pick me up. I was kinda confused but went along with it. I then learned that she was picking me up on the way home from the hospital where my dad was since he pulled one of his tendons in his foot. Without boring you with details, long story short: he can't do much for the next (apparently) 12 weeks after the surgery which he's getting some time this coming week.
That was just my Saturday, Sunday I can't even remember because I'm pretty sure I did absolutely nothing.
Monday rolls around and I know this week is going to be a lot of work. We were finally going to start building the set of Into the Woods after school in tech. That chewed up from three to five o'clock from Monday through Thursday, not that I minded. The people I see there I don't have class with and are just super awesomely fun to hang out with.
Combine the after school activity with some homework that I was getting, it was a busy week. I know that next week will be a really long one. My school decided to give us mid-terms the week before we have regents. The only class that I'm really worried about is my history class since I have never been that good in history, unlike math which I barely have to think to understand it.
At least I just have to survive this week and then it's a week off for me (for those regents). All I need to do is go in twice for my algebra and geometry regents because I want to retake them to try and get a 100%. I'm more looking forward to making some delicious pound cake, however.

Psst, "Blink" is a broken link. I really want to read that book, but I just haven't gotten around to it yet, unfortunately. Let us know what you think when you're done!

Meg - Fixed the link, thanks! From the 60 pages I've read, it's really good. I'll be sure to write a review here when I'm finished, however.

oh, sorry one more comment - the pictures you take look REALLY professional. Like people would pay for stuff like that. In lieu of this, being that I'm in theater, I need a headshot.....If I can convince my dad...well and once I actually get back to NY, which will be a few months...perhaps you could do headshots for me? I know it's an odd request but it would be nice to see you again anyway and you would probably make a bit of money in the meantime....haha wow rereading this this sounds rather weird ;P
